The small type rolling mill has been developing in our country.we should think about the
following questions,
1,We must try our best to deal with the checking technology problems.it is the basic　automation.If we can not check the technology parameters,it is difficult to use automatic　control system.In the rolling mill production process,there are still a lot of checking parameters that is not to be solved.We should pay much attention in studying it.
2,We should try our best to promote the lternating current technology.The adjust ment of alternating current is the development direction of electric transmission .So in terms of saving energy, or in the view of maintenance and repair. The alternating current it is better than DC drive.
3,According to our country's economic conditions, management and staff quality, and most plant should firstly do the automation work and gradually realize the automation process and multi-level automation.
4.We must enhance introducing new technology plan and develop new products.Our country has introduced the small type rolling mill and received sucessful experience.With the development of small type rolling mill,we also should introduce the software.
